 Jessi's Dogs

Moxie --- Moxie vom Triton is a black German Shepherd. She was born on December 28, 2007. I have high hopes for this little gal and plan on training and titling her in AKC Obedience, Rally-O, Schutzhund, Agility and anything else we find she likes to do! Watch for her in classes! Thank you Trish and Triton Kennels

Hella --- Hellacious vom Kriegshund is a black sable German Shepherd puppy. She was born May 12, 2009 and came to me in October of 2009. I am training her in AKC Obedience, Rally-O, Schutzhund and Agility. She is a beautiful and lovely working dog. I hope in the future she will be the start of a breeding program. Thank you Mark and Kriegshund Kennels !

Jinx --- Jinx is a Tri colored Shetland Sheepdog. He is now 3 years old and is in training for show and obedience and agility competition.

He is now an APRI Prominant Champion  and took Herding Group Second in Dec '09 at the APRI Parade of Champions conformation show.

Malfoy, White German Shepherd

Malfoy --- Malfoy is a White German Shepherd. I  adopted from the local pound. We are thrilled to have our home blessed with this special boy! Watch for him in class!

Breaca --- Breaca (pronounced Br-AH-ka; Brockah) is a 11 year old Border Collie. Jessi adopted her from the Rolla Animal Shelter when she was an 8 week old puppy.  Breaca is a great worker and has her CGC. She sometimes helps out in classes as a demo-dog and has been in several parades.

Greatly Missed

Achielles --- Achielles was the "old man" of the group. Achielles was a German Shepherd Dog and was almost 13 years old. Jessi adopted him from the Rolla Animal Shelter when he was a 4 or 5 month old puppy. Believe it or not, the pound had him listed as a Shepherd/Lab mix! Anyone who has seen him knows he was a purebred GSD.  Achielles was the start of Jessi's obedience show career. Achielles has his CD, CDX, UD, BH, OB1 and CGC. He also had one leg towards his Rally Obedience title. He consistantly achieved high scores, seldom was he not in the ribbons, usually placing first or second. He was truely an amazing dog. Click on his name for more pictures. I let him go after the vet's had done everything they could but he wasn't getting better. He had congestive heart failure, not uncommon at his age, and drugs were not helping. Rather than have him suffer and deteriorate further, losing his dignity, I let him go at 12:30pm on September 19, 2007. I will never forget him. He was my once-in-a-lifetime dog. Luv ya bud. Axel  --- Axel was a German Shepherd Dog and nearly 10 years old when he passed. He was of mainly East German, some Belgin and some Czech lines.  He achieved his AKC CD title and two Rally Novice (RN) legs (never got around to showing him for that last leg before he passed) as well as the CGC. Axel had been a challenge but a pleasure to work with. His coloring scared many people, but he was truely a teddy bear and sweet heart to his core. He is sorely missed by all who knew him.

Ghost --- Ghost passed away November 12, 2006. Ghost was a Great Pyreneese and she lived to about 13 years old. She was the start of Jessi's dog training interests.  Ghost was rescued from a "breeder" who had two 9 month old females left, but couldn't get rid of them and had decided to shoot them. Jessi found out about them and took both girls, found a home for one and kept one. Their life had been nothing but living in a barn and were lucky to have been remembered once in a while to have food tossed in to them. They never left the barn and were in bad shape and extremely skinny. Through training, Ghost got over her shyness and fears. Ghost was typical of the Great Pyreneese breed, very intelligent but very independant. She earned one leg towards her CD before Jessi decided that showing just wasn't what Ghost wanted to do. She does have her CGC and has been in some of the Rolla parades in the past with Happy K-9's. Ghost was the beginning and will always be thanked for her lessons she taught to not only dogs, but Jessi too.

Ashlea's Snicker Doodle - AKA "Snickers"
Snickers was a wonderful little Blue Merle Sheltie we had been training for a future career as a show dog (when his nose fills in lol) and a performance event competitor. Great thanks and appreciation to Gerardi's Shelties!!   Sadly, Snickers was taken from us due to a tragic accident. He is greatly missed. He has instilled in our family a love for the Shetland Sheepdog breed and we hope keep our love for him and the breed alive in a future puppy.

Rin Tin Tin's Rin Tippy Tin - AKA "Tipper"
Tipper was a great dog, very sweet but sadly his health took him from us at the tender age of 4 years old. He and my daughter Ashlea, were great friends.

Rookie's Brutus - AKA "Brutus"
I was given Brutus when his owners got divorced and gave him back to the breeder. The breeder contacted me about taking Brutus because he was such a stong tempered dog none but an experienced handler could take him. He excelled in Schutzhund work but his chronic ear infections lead to deafness. Due to safety, I had to make the tough decision to let him go. He was a fabulous dog and is sorely missed.

Frasier
Frasier was a Jack Russell Terrier that passed away of old age. He was a character and taught me much.

Whoopie
Whoopie sadly was euthanized by her breeder after we had both taken great pains and steps to make her well. Neither of our vets could find what was wrong with her when she started loosing weight despite our best efforts. She was a very sweet dog and is sorely missed by us all.
